Schools are made by the people who choose to make them.
Schools are not founded by founders. They are made — year by year, contribution by contribution, hour by hour — by the families and collaborators who choose to put their craft, their convictions, and their patience into a place that does not yet exist. Until, between them, it does. That is what we are inviting you to do here.
01 Academy is being built in public. The most important page on this site is not the manifesto. It is this one — the page where we ask you to leave a mark. There are three ways in.
Bring yourself to the school.
For individuals who want to leave a mark on a school being built in public — educators, mentors, practitioners, operators, families, pastors.
Borrow modules. Co-teach a cohort. Bring your own students to the work. The curriculum is open by design — it gets stronger when more teachers shape it.
Spend an hour a month with a student in your domain. Read drafts. Ask hard questions. Many of our students will remember your name longer than they will remember ours.
Designers, engineers, founders, researchers, healers — author a guest seminar, contribute a case study, sit with a cohort during prototype week. The students will rise to whoever takes them seriously.
Help us build the school. Operations, partnerships, fundraising, board service, governance. The physical campus does not yet exist; the people who will make it exist do.
Schools are made by families. Bring your hours, your skills, your craft, your prayers. A school you help build is a school your child can grow up inside of.
Innovation without conscience is a cliff. We need the people whose vocation is the formation of a person — not as guest speakers, but as quiet, durable presences.
Bring 01 Academy to your school.
For schools that want our pedagogy in their own classrooms — keynotes, workshops, field excursions, and parent evenings. Custom-fit to your community.
Forty-five to sixty minutes from Soren — at an assembly, a teacher in-service, or a parents' evening. The argument for a different kind of education, framed for your community.
A three- to four-hour intensive for a class or grade level. First-principles innovation, the Innovation Challenge methodology, or the ethics of exponential technologies — adapted to your students.
Bring a cohort of your students into the field with ours — a day, a weekend, or a full week. Stiltetyd, hike, scarcity-design, fire-side reflection. Where formation happens fastest.
Ninety minutes for the parent community — Jonathan Haidt's research, our pedagogical response, and what schools and families can do this year. Designed for schools wrestling with policy.
Help us build it.
For friends, donors, alumni-in-spirit, and supporters of the founding work — three suggested amounts, not tied to enrollment. Where the school grows from depends on who decides to back it.
Tell us how you'd like to engage.
We triage every introduction. No template, no preamble — a sentence is enough.
